Oh boy. For a 23 minute short, we ended up with over 3 hours of footage. Maybe close to 4. Granted, there were entire scenes we cut out of the final product and script changes up the yin-yang.
Yikes. That is a lot. Doesn't surprise me in the least, though. Now that I've assembled the rough cut, I wish I'd shot at least an hour so I'd have more to work with. Seems like 7 times the length of the film is about par for the course (judging from yours and mine). So a feature would take at least... 12 hours of footage?
